School of the Art Institute of Chicago Galleries
The IMPACT Performance Festival 2023 will take place in-person at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) Galleries, located at 33 E. Washington Street. This festival showcases the culminating projects of MFA and BFA students from SAIC, who will activate multiple spaces within the gallery to present live performances.
This year, participating artists include Andy Giovale, Anna Johnson, Carissa Pinckney, castroduperly, Dorothy Carlos, FLEMING, Gabe Postle, Jubilee, Kezia Waters, Lula Asplund, Mallory Yanhan Qui, Mao, Nikki Telegan, Ricardo Vilas Freire, sun Lynn Hunter, and TEFO.
Elise is the alumni producer for this event.
I Invited Myself, vol. II

Eiko Otake’s first museum solo-exhibition, I Invited Myself, vol. II, foregrounds the artist’s video and media, which have developed alongside her dance, choreography, and performance installations. The exhibition presents new and recent media that feature a body as it moves in and through various spaces, including the urban infrastructure of Tokyo and New York and the vast landscapes of Wyoming and California. Working closely with the curators, Otake choreographs her media works for the galleries of the Fine Arts Center.
